Aglaonemas

I have been growing aglaonemas for years now and find them to be a very hardy indoor plant, growing happily in my air conditioned  hone and thriving with the occasional watering I remember to give them.  I have a couple growing in the shadier parts of my garden; either under the pavilion or against larger palms where the garden is drier and they are happy there and come through winter without any damage to the leaves.  Over the last few years it has become difficult or I should say impossible to buy them in Sydney as only a couple of cultivars are available; so on a recent trip to Queensland I decided to go searching for aglaonemas and managed to find over 30 different ones for my collection.  Some of the larger ones are growing in the house and will find their way out into the garden as I take cuttings from them.

When I was collecting aglaonemas I wasn't concerned about buying perfect plants, only in being able to add to my collection; so some of the photos show damaged leaves but these will gradually be replaced by perfect leaves.
